Kass and I have logged a few thousand kilometres together and we've met some interesting people along the way. We've been chilled to the bone riding past snow covered ground (a little unnerving while rolling along on two wheels) in Whistler,BC and we've been cooked by the sun of an Okanagan summer. We`ve felt the rush of riding next to white water rapids and the calm of riding into a cloud on a high mountain pass. We simply love to go.

 

  The ispiration to start a blog came from an odd source, of all things, a show called Long Way Round. Actors Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman documented their 20000 mile motorcycle ride around the world. The footage was amazing and I said to Kass.. " Hey! We should do that!" She looked at me like I had lost my mind and said "Go around the world?!?  COOOL!!"  When I told her I meant recording what we do, she decided that it was a "cool" idea too. I must admit, she's become quite a photographer, especially when she's on the back of the bike. Most of the really nice action shots  were taken by Kass.  Maybe one day we'll talk about a "Ride On, EH" world tour!

 

  Even though the name of our site gives the impression that all we do is ride, it isn't always possible to take the motorcycle, sometimes we go by car, bus, train, boat, or sometimes we just walk. To us, what is important is that we get out and explore the world... or at least as much as we can. Normal life gets in the way from time to time.. things like work, tasks around the home, and a great lady that likes to spend time with me! (Love you babe!) . All this means is that we go when we can and enjoy every minute.

 

  I was going to create some blogs about some of our past trips but, decided against it. I decided instead to add a photo gallery so we could share some of our past fun with you. Enjoy and check back from time to time. Who knows? Maybe one day we'll meet you down the road.
